2: Design Proposal (Floor plan,
Elevation, Horizontal and Longitudinal section)
According to the feedback from the lecturer about the
design of pavilion, the architecture student are modify the design of the
pavilion. The different between the previous design with new design is we
already add on the extended louver for sun shading and decoration ( slanted 10-50
)- 500mm and the material for the extended louver is using PU. Architecture student also add on a small courtyard inside the pavilion that connected with the open roof For the other
material of this pavilion, we also do some changing and we build it with the
reinforced concrete lower beam, reinforced concrete post, rectangle glass
panels (LTG), laminated tempered glass (rectangular glass plane of different
sizes according to levels), recycled steel frame-work and photovoltaic cell.
Then, the area of the pavilion is estimated that is landscape= 10.7m2 ,
gallery= 25.0 m2, lounge+ reception= 22.5m2, store=
2.5m2, porch= 3.3m2, total building area= 50.0m2
and total building line area= 64.0m2. Architecture student also draw

3: Preparation for the Presentation Crit 1
All the member are transfer the information into the A1
butter paper according to the job scope. For the building technology student is
do the construction method report. For this pavilion we use the Industry
Building Index (IBS) method. IBS is a modern method construction. It can
increase productivity and quantity at construction site and allow more
efficient and cost effective. For the proposed foundation( material selection team) ,raft foundation
suitable because low bearing capacity soil. The soil settle unevenly when subjected
to load. For the glass of the pavilion, we use laminated glass because PVB
interlayer keeps the layers of glass bonded & prevent from cracking apart.
Construction management student is do the project scheduling and organisation
chart. After that, all the member is combine and arrange all the A1 butter
paper.
